Decent Mexican restaurant in La Mesa. However they regularly mess up your order. I ordered the special on Friday which was a burrito with Carne Asada, Shrimp, pico de gallo and guacamole. I added cheese and sour cream took off pico. All that was correct... then they added rice.... not on the board not something I like and if it was listed I would have removed.

I love this place. There food is always hot and so much flavor well worth the drive. And they have the best horchata nice and Cold. Oh and the complementary chips to go with there great salsa. I recommend all of it. My favorite is the carne Asada wet burrito 🌯

15 years ago this restaurant was a staple, we ate here 3 or 4 times a week, then we moved to Texas and longed for Mexican food like this place with no such luck. We are here on vacation and we were overwhelmed when we got to eat here, the food hasn't changed a bit.

1 star because the cashier was so nice. The red salsa mild was terrible. It tasted very watery. The diced onions and cilantro were ok. The carne asada fries were not good. I could barely taste the salt in the fries.the meat was too thick. The avocado was good. My baby did enjoy the fries so adding 1 more star. Parking is good. Right up front the door and restaurant so I can see my vehicle. You need to change the way you make the carne asada fries and salsa. The horchata was also very watery. It had a more clear color on it. I didnt ask for ice. Good portion in the foam containers. Oh ya I'm never going back. The orange rice is excellent so I'm adding another star with a total of 3

Good food, decent prices. I love the lil mini tacos (street tacos) the fish tacos are also good. On Taco Tuesday they make the tacos super cheap.

I eat before here but this time the food was to salty..take it easy on that , food will be ok , nice diversity on the menu..

I love the food here! Been eating regularly here for a few years now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason for 3 stars today is a customer had a dog in her lap at a table. Not acceptable. I told the gentleman at the counter and he shrugged his shoulders. Again, not acceptable. Probably won't eat here again.

Always great food, fast service and friendly staff. It's better than an average taco shop- they have a large menu with nice full meal plates to offer.

Honestly, not the greatest but it isnt horrible. They have good breakfast burritos, but everything else is pretty meh.

This is my go-to for burritos! I love it, and the burritos are always not enough to be two meals, but not so big I can't pick them up!

I admire this place a lot. there is a special atmosphere. The meals are wonderful. the service is effective and the stuff is polite. The cost is reasonable. truly recommend.

I've been going here for years. Reasonibly priced with great service. There are free chips and a great salsa bar. My personal favorites are their breakfast burritos.

Quite possibly the best taco shop in town. This is a great restaurant to visit for all your favorites: Tacos, burritos, carne asada fries! It's a family owned and operated business, and it shows in the quality they put in the food and the service they deliver. But move over California Burrito: The new star of the show is the SAN DIEGO Burrito. Definitely be sure to come in and visit these guys. You won't look at Taco Bell the same ever again.
